Faith’s Power

Mark 9:23 says, “And Jesus said to him, ‘If you can! All things are possible for one who believes.’”

If you can believe, everything is possible

Jesus is speaking to a man who has brought his son to him, asking for him to be healed. The man says to Jesus, “If you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us” (Mark 9:22).

Jesus then responds with the statement in Mark 9:23, which emphasizes the importance of belief and faith in receiving what we ask for.

Everything is possible to God. But the Wonderful thing we should understand is that we are created in the image of God, We who are born from God has Gods Seed in us. So we too can do the things which Jesus did, even more, as Jesus promised.

Matthew 17:20: “For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”
This verse is similar to Mark 9:23 in that it emphasizes the power of faith. Jesus is speaking to his disciples here, telling them that even a small amount of faith can move mountains ( if its not diluted by doubt.

James 1:5-6: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.”

Often people think its not Gods Will, thats why i don’t get answer. But the Truth is they ask without hoping to get. They have no assurance, they have no faith.

Hebrews 11:1: “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”

So faith is not asking for something, without having the assurance that we wont get it. Faith is assurance, no doubt in it.

Romans 10:17: “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”
This verse emphasizes the importance of hearing the word of God and allowing it to build our faith. It reminds us that faith is not something we conjure up on our own, but something that is built through hearing and believing the word of God. Word of God is Truth. He will do what He promised.

Mark 11:24: “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

This verse is similar to Mark 9:23 in that it emphasizes the importance of belief in receiving what we ask for in prayer. It reminds us that when we pray, we should believe that God has already given us what we’re asking for.

Matthew 9:22: “Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, ‘Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.’ And instantly the woman was made well.”
In this passage, Jesus is approached by a woman who has been suffering from a hemorrhage for many years. She reaches out and touches the hem of his garment, believing that if she does so, she will be healed. Jesus tells her that her faith has made her well, and she is healed instantly.

Matthew 15:28: “Then Jesus answered her, ‘O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire.’ And her daughter was healed instantly

In this passage, a Canaanite woman approaches Jesus and begs him to heal her daughter, who is possessed by a demon. Jesus initially ignores her, but the woman persists, demonstrating her great faith. Jesus is impressed by her faith and heals her daughter.

Mark 10:52: “And Jesus said to him, ‘Go your way; your faith has made you well.’ And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way.”
In this passage, a blind man named Bartimaeus calls out to Jesus for mercy. Jesus asks him what he wants, and Bartimaeus replies that he wants to be able to see. Jesus tells him that his faith has made him well, and Bartimaeus is instantly healed.

Luke 17:19: “And he said to him, ‘Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well.’”
In this passage, Jesus encounters ten lepers who ask him to have mercy on them. He tells them to go and show themselves to the priests, and as they are going, they are healed. One of the lepers, a Samaritan, returns to thank Jesus, and Jesus tells him that his faith has made him well.

These passages demonstrate the power of faith in bringing about physical healing. They also remind us that faith is not just a matter of intellectual assent. Many people think that they have faith, just because they assent that Bible is true from cover to cover . But faith is not intellectual assent, but assurance, without doubt.

” I have not seen such faith, even in Israel

Jesus highly appreciate those who believe in their healing. He was not like Pharisees who belittle healing ministry. Because He was full of compassion, which Pharisees never have.

Throughout the Gospels, there are many examples of Jesus being pleased with people’s faith that he can heal them. In fact, it was often their faith that drew Jesus to heal them in the first place.

One such example can be found in Matthew 9:27-30, where two blind men come to Jesus and cry out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!” Jesus asks them if they believe that he is able to heal them, and they respond, “Yes, Lord.” Jesus is pleased with their faith and touches their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it done to you.” The men are

immediately healed and are able to see.

These examples demonstrate that Jesus was pleased with people’s faith in his ability to heal them. Faith was not just a passive belief, but an active trust that drew them to Jesus and prompted them to reach out to him for help. Their faith was rewarded with healing, and Jesus used these moments to teach and encourage others to believe in him as well.

Dr. Joe Dispenza is a well-known author, speaker, and researcher who has written extensively on the power of faith and visualization to heal the body and mind. He is the author of several books, including “Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself” and “Becoming Supernatural,” which explore the connection between thoughts, emotions, and physical health.

In one of his talks, Dr. Dispenza shares several examples of people who have used faith and visualization to heal themselves. One such example is a woman who had been diagnosed with breast cancer and was scheduled to undergo surgery. She decided to use visualization techniques to help her body heal, and would spend hours each day visualizing her body as healthy and whole. When she went in for surgery, the doctors were amazed to find that the tumor had disappeared and there was no sign of cancer in her body.

Dr. Dispenza also shares the story of a man who had been diagnosed with a rare and debilitating disease that left him unable to walk. He was told by doctors that there was no cure and that he would have to live with the condition for the rest of his life. However, the man refused to accept this prognosis and began using visualization techniques to imagine himself walking and running again. Over time, he was able to regain his ability to walk and eventually became a long-distance runner.

These stories illustrate the power of faith and visualization to transform our lives and bring about healing. Dr. Dispenza suggests that by focusing our thoughts and emotions on positive outcomes and possibilities, we can create new neural pathways in the brain that support health and well-being. He emphasizes the importance of cultivating a deep sense of faith and trust in the body’s ability to heal itself, and encourages people to use visualization techniques to support this process.

Dr. Lissa Rankin is another renowned medical doctor, author, speaker, and researcher who has written extensively on the connection between the mind and body and the power of faith and visualization to promote healing. She is the author of several books, including “Mind Over Medicine” and “The Anatomy of a Calling,” which explore the role of consciousness and spirituality in health and well-being.

Dr. Rankin also shares the story of a man who had been diagnosed with a serious heart condition and was told that he needed to have surgery to correct the problem. However, the man was deeply committed to his spiritual practice and decided to use visualization techniques to help his body heal. He spent several hours each day visualizing his heart as healthy and strong, and within a few months, his heart condition had completely resolved without surgery.

These stories illustrate the power of faith and visualization to promote healing and transformation in our lives. Dr. Rankin suggests that by cultivating a deep sense of faith and trust in our own healing abilities, we can tap into the innate wisdom of the body and support the healing process. She emphasizes the importance of addressing the root causes of illness, including emotional and spiritual factors, and encourages people to use visualization techniques and other spiritual practices to support their healing journey.
