Forest Rain, Symphony of Nature
Jaison Chacko
Deep in the forest, the pouring rain
A rhythmic beat of nature’s percussion
Dancing on leaves, a symphony
Of droplets in perfect harmony
The river joins in with its tune
A melody that will make you swoon
It flows and swirls, a watery dance
A song that nature will enhance
Insects chirp and buzz all around
Their chorus joins in without a bound
The birds tweet and warble with glee
Adding their voices to harmony
The forest is alive with sound
Nature’s orchestra, playing unbound
A beautiful song that fills the air
A melody beyond compare
So close your eyes and just listen
To the music that nature’s given
Let it wash over you, like rain
And be lost in its sweet refrain.
The rain has stopped, the sun appears
A beaming light that now endears
The world is fresh, the air is clean
A sight that’s rarely ever seen
The droplets on the leaves still cling
A precious gift that rain does bring
The light reflects and shimmers bright
A dazzling display of pure delight
The coolness in the forest lingers
A refreshing breeze that gently fingers
The plants and trees that now stand tall
Rejoicing in this newfound thrall
The animals come out to play
To bask in the sun’s warm ray
They frolic, jump, and run around
In this paradise that they have found
The world is reborn, renewed
A scene that can’t be erased from mind
Nature’s beauty on full display
By the Creator whose magnificence in play
