Mothers, Protect Your Girls!

Mothers protect your girls with all your might
You don’t know how vulnerable they are
This world is darker than you ever thought
And its dangers, they won’t be able to par.
From the moment they are born, teach them
To be careful, to stay safe, to be aware
For they’ll have to face the challenges , never foreseen
And dangers that lurk everywhere.
They’ll be judged for their appearance and their size
Told to be pretty, to fit in, to be nice
But these expectations are just a guise
To control and diminish their power and their might.
They’ll face harassment and abuse
From those who think they are entitled
But it’s not their fault, they didn’t choose
To be the target of someone so vile.
They’ll be told they can’t achieve
Their dreams, their goals, their aspirations
But don’t let them believe
In these lies and tempting words of the wolves
Mothers, protect your girls with all your might
Teach them to be strong, to stand up, to fight
For they are the future, the hope, the light
And their future is as high as sky
In this world, they will face challenges
Discrimination, harassment, and hate
But with your support, they can manage
To overcome and rise above their fate.
Teach them to be strong and kind
To stand up for themselves and others
With empathy in their heart and mind
They’ll be the leaders and the mothers.
Show them how to love themselves
For who they are, and not what’s imposed
Their worth is not determined by someone else
Their value, innate and indisposed.
So, mothers, protect your girls
From the dangers that lurk outside
Give them wings to soar and swirls
In a world where they can freely glide.
God has destined them to be angels
Don’t let satan draw them to the abyss
Teach them to seek the Kingdom of God
And be under the shadow vof the Almighty
.
