How to Remain Peaceful? how to overcome mental turbulence?
The most important thing in your life is to enjoy peace most of the times. It makes you happy and cool and behave peacefully with others. YOU NEED NOT BURN YOUR LIFE IN ANGER, IMPATIENCE, BITTERNESS, REVENGE AND FITS OF TEMPER . IT IS A SIGN OF LACK OF WISDOM. A WISE MAN IS ONE WHO MAINTAINS HIS PEACE AND INNER JOY ALL THE TIME POSSIBLE.
FIRST AND FOREMOST , BEING FILLED WITH THE HIGHER AND HOLY SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD IS AN ESSENTIAL PART OF OUR INNER PEACE. WE ARE NOT MEANT TO BE FULFILLED WITHOUT GOD, OUR CREATOR. THE VERY BREATH WE BREATHE IS FROM THE LIFE OF GOD AND THE MOMENT ITS TAKEN, OUR BODY DIES, BUT WE DON’T CEASE TO EXIST.
THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS THE REAL “OIL OF JOY” THE MORE YOU ARE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT (WHO IS GOD HIMSELF), THE MORE YOU ARE FILLED WITH A BUBBLING INNER JOY AND PEACE. WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FILLED AGAIN AND AGAIN WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT FOR OUR BENEFIT. JESUS HAS PROMISED TO FILL ,EVERYONE WHO THIRSTS ,WITH HIS SPIRIT.
SECONDLY, ITS YOUR DUTY TO KEEP YOUR MIND IN PEACE, BY NOT allowing disturbing negative thoughts to enter your mind.
” Let not your minds be troubled” exhorts Jesus (John 14:1)
THOUGHTS CREATE EITHER LIFE OR DEATH.
“THOUGHTS OF THE FLESH IS DEATH, THOUGHTS OF THE SPIRIT IS LIFE AND PEACE ” ( Romans 8:6)
all your thoughts are not originated from you alone. That is why sometimes you are obsessed by some thoughts from which you cannot escape easily. for example some unreasonable fear . some thoughts of depression which is quite unreasonable but you cannot escape from it. you seem powerless against it. These negative emotions which are tormenting you, are having an evil origin,whether you know it or not; believe it or not. MANY ARE FIRST MADE DEPRESSED AND UPSET BY THESE NEGATIVE THOUGHTS WHICH ARE HAVING SO SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES . MANY ARE LED TO COMMIT SUICIDE BY THE PROMPTING OF THESE EVIL SPIRITS BEHIND THE NEGATIVE THOUGHTS. MANY HAVE COMMITTED MANY CRIMES LIKE KILLING UNDER THE INFLUENCES OF REVENGEFUL THOUGHTS WHICH MADE THEM MAD .
SO ITS VITALLY IMPORTANT TO KEEP YOUR MIND FREE FROM SUCH NEGATIVE THOUGHTS. DO NOT LET YOUR HEARTS BE TROUBLED OR DEPRESSED OR REVENGEFUL. Don’t ever pamper anger, or revenge or fear to take root in your mind. Be quick to forgive for your own mental health and happiness. Keep your mind CALM AT ALL TIMES POSSIBLE. You are forgiving ,first of all,for yourself. By forgiving you can keep your mind in peace ,which is vitally important for your health. Moreover ,unless you forgive, you also will not be forgiven by God and man. That does not mean that you need to associate with an evil and harmful man. NO. YOU CAN FORGIVE HIM ,BUT BE WISE ENOUGH TO KEEP A SAFE DISTANCE SO AS NOT TO BE TROUBLED BY HIM AGAIN.
A real life scenario is that of taking part in an argument ,which we all have done many a time in our lives. While we are arguing , we think only about how to defeat our opponent by our words. Often we go much beyond the limits in heated exchange of words. But finally we find ourselves exhausted and unhappy and moreover our relationship with the other person is damage to a considerable extent. We were eager to defeat the other person and in our fervent attempt to do so, we lost our own mental peace and likely to lose the warmth of our relationship with the other person. So we are foolishly defeated ourselves. REMEMBER IT IS ALWAYS MOST IMPORTANT TO KEEP OUR PEACE AND INNER JOY MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE. WINNING OUR OPPONENTS HEART IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN DEFEATING HIM/HER WITH WORDS AND THEREBY BREAKING THE WARMTH OF THE FELLOWSHIP.
